Love Series: Ep. 2| Accept One Another, Jesus Loves Me

It starts with how we feel about ourselves.

Once we feel fully accepted as WE are, then we can more easily accept others as THEY are.

And when we are more accepting of ourselves, then we are more accepting of others.

In other words, it’s not you, it’s me.

Love Series: Ep. 1| While Still Sinners, Great is thy Faithfulness

It’s not a secret that we’re divided right now.
Pick an issue and there is strong feelings on both sides, with diminishing space in between…it’s as if neutral ground is nonexistent.
I have been both bothered by this and tempted to weigh in and take a side. Give everyone a piece of my mind, because of course what is missing is my voice in this cacophony of noise. 🙄
After some intense prayer and study, I feel called instead to spread love. To remind us of our higher calling.
I’m sharing what I’ve found in the hopes that it will help us stop competing and start connecting.
So I’m starting a new series for Fall on Love.
I truly believe that if we really understood how much God loves us, everything else would fall into place.
I feel called to spread love through sharing scripture and songs in this series.

It’s all in the translation

Different translations of the Bible can be really helpful to hear scripture in a way that makes it easier to apply to your daily life.

Here are some of my favorites!

A Voice for Invoice

One of the things that I’m passionate about is advocating for musicians, myself included, to be paid well for our service.

I thought there would come a time when people would no longer expect that I would do things for free.

And then I heard about a Grammy award winning artist being asked to perform for free.

And now I have something to say!
